EDUCATION, ENGLAND AND WALES The Education (Grants) (Music, Ballet and Choir Schools) (Amendment) Regulations 1996
1.(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Grants) (Music, Ballet and Choir Schools) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 25th August 1996. (2) These Regulations shall apply to a school year beginning on or after the date mentioned in paragraph (1). (3) In these Regulations, a reference to the principal Regulations is a reference to the Education (Grants) (Music, Ballet and Choir Schools) Regulations 1995[3].
2. The principal Regulations shall be amended in accordance with regulations 3 to 6 below.
The Chetham's School of Music, Manchester; The Elmhurst Ballet School, Camberley, Surrey; The Purcell School, Harrow; The Royal Ballet School, London; The Wells Cathedral School, Somerset; and The Yehudi Menuhin School, Surrey," .

Regulation 3 of, and paragraph 3 of Schedule 2 to, the 1995 Regulations are amended in order to add the Arts Educational School, Tring and the Elmhurst Ballet School, Camberley to the list of music and ballet schools participating in the aided pupil scheme (regulations 3 and 5). Schedule 1 of the 1995 Regulations (which establishes the aided pupil scheme, sets out conditions of eligibility for aided places, and provides for remission of fees, payment of grant and administrative provisions) is amended as follows:
