HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND AND WALES

The Birmingham-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (King's Lynn Southern Bypass) Order 1971 Partial Revocation Order 1996

Made 4th July 1996
Coming into force 8th August 1996

    The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Birmingham-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (King's Lynn Southern Bypass) Order 1971 Partial Revocation Order 1996 and shall come into force on 8th August 1996.
        2.    The Birmingham-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (King's Lynn Southern Bypass) Order 1971[3] is hereby revoked insofar as it authorises the Secretary of State to construct:
       (a) that length of new trunk road between a point 310 metres west of the centre of the Hardwick Roundabout (as itself authorised by that Order to be constructed) and its easterly junction with the A47 Trunk Road; and
       (b) two routes for slip roads to connect the said Hardwick Roundabout to the length of new trunk road described above and given the reference numbers 11 and 12.
