BRITISH TECHNOLOGY

The National Enterprise Board (Dissolution) Order 1996

Made 5th June 1996

    The Secretary of State, having consulted the National Enterprise Board ("the Board") and British Technology Group Limited ("the successor company")[1] and being satisfied that nothing further remains to be done by the Board under Schedule 3 to the British Technology Group Act 1991[2], in exercise of his powers under subsection (2) of section 11 of that Act, hereby makes the following Order.
        1.    This Order may be cited as the National Enterprise Board (Dissolution) Order 1996.
        2.    The Board shall be dissolved on 1st July 1996.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order dissolves the National Enterprise Board ("the Board"), the Secretary of State being satisfied that nothing further remains to be done by it pursuant to Schedule 3 to the British Technology Group Act 1991 in respect of the vesting in British Technology Group Limited of the Board’s foreign property, rights and liabilities and its final statements of accounts and annual reports to the Secretary of State.
