NEW TOWNS

The New Town (Glenrothes) Dissolution Order 1996

Made 29th March 1996
Coming into force 4th April 1996

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 36G(1) of the New Towns (Scotland) Act 1968[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with Glenrothes Development Corporation, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the New Town (Glenrothes) Dissolution Order 1996 and shall come into force on 4th April 1996.

        (2)  In this Order, "Glenrothes Development Corporation" means the Glenrothes Development Corporation established by the New Town (Glenrothes) (Development Corporation) Order 1948[2].
        2.    The Secretary of State hereby appoints 5th April 1996 as the date for the dissolution of Glenrothes Development Corporation.
