EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES The European Communities (Designation)(No. 4) Order 1995
At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 13th day of December 1995 Present, The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
1. This Order may be cited as the European Communities (Designation) (No. 4) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 12th January 1996.
2.(1) For the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 the Minister specified in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order is hereby designated in relation to the matters specified in column (2) of that Schedule. (2) The Minister designated in relation to the item in column (2) of the said Schedule is, for the purposes of the said section 2(2), also hereby designated in relation to anything supplemental or related to the matters specified in that item.
3. The designation of the Secretary of State in respect of measures relating to training in medical practice, the issue and/or recognition of diplomas or certificates or other evidence of qualifications in relation to medical practice, the titles used by those in medical practice, and the exercise of medical practice, in the European Communities (Designation) (No. 4) Order 1994[2], and the designation of any Northern Ireland department in respect of the conditions of, and the recognition of qualifications for, access to and pursuit of activities in the field of pharmacy, in the European Communities (Designation) Order 1987[3], are hereby revoked.
