NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, ENGLAND AND WALES

The Parkside National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) (No. 2) Order 1994

Made 22nd November 1994
Laid before Parliament 28th November 1994
Coming into force 19th December 1994

    The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities resulting from the establishment of the Parkside National Health Service Trust[2], having consulted the Special Trustees for St Mary's Hospital and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation, commencement and interpretation
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Parkside National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) (No. 2) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 19th December 1994.

        (2)  In this Order—
      "the Special Trustees" means the Special Trustees for St Mary's Hospital;

      "the Trust" means the Parkside National Health Service Trust;

      "the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Special Trustees and the Trust on 15th July 1993, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the Special Trustees and the Trust.

    Transfer of trust property
        2.    On 19th December 1994 the trust property shall be transferred from the Special Trustees to the Trust.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order transfers to the Parkside National Health Service Trust on 19th December 1994 trust property formerly held by the Special Trustees for St Mary's Hospital. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the NHS Trust Unit, Room 1W29, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
