EDUCATION, ENGLAND AND WALES The Education (Groups of Grant-maintained Schools) (Initial Governing Instruments) Regulations 1994
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Groups of Grant-maintained Schools) (Initial Governing Instruments) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 7th December 1994.
2. For the purposes of section 118(1) of the Education Act 1993 the initial instrument of government for the governing body of a group shall be set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
3. For the purposes of section 118(1) of the Education Act 1993 the initial articles of government for each school in a group shall be in accordance with those required (under any regulations[3] in force at the time of incorporation of that group) for a grant-maintained school, or, as the case may be, a grant-maintained special school, and for those purposes
