INTELLIGENCE SERVICES

The Intelligence Services Act 1994 (Commencement) Order 1994

Made 15th October 1994

    In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 12(2) of the Intelligence Services Act 1994[1], I hereby make the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Intelligence Services Act 1994 (Commencement) Order 1994.
        2.    The Intelligence Services Act 1994 shall come into force on 15th December 1994 except that for the purposes of making any Order in Council under section 12(4) thereof it shall come into force on 2nd November 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order brings into force on 15th December 1994 the provisions of the Intelligence Services Act 1994, except that for the purposes of making any Order in Council under section 12(4) it is brought into force on 2nd November 1994.
