The Bail (Amendment) Act 1993 (Commencement) Order 1994

Made 25th May 1994

    In exercise of the power conferred upon me by section 2(2) of the Bail (Amendment) Act 1993[1], I hereby make the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Bail (Amendment) Act 1993 (Commencement) Order 1994.
        2.    27th June 1994 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Bail (Amendment) Act 1993 apart from section 2[2].

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order brings into force on 27th June 1994 the operative provisions of the Bail (Amendment) Act 1993. On that date the whole of the Act will be in force.
