This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in S.I. 1994/1047 and is being issued free of charge to all recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

EDUCATION, ENGLAND AND WALES

The Education (Special Educational Needs) (Amendment) Regulations 1994

Made 5th May 1994
Laid before Parliament 9th May 1994
Coming into force 1st September 1994

    In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 168(2) of and paragraph 3 of Schedule 9 to the Education Act 1993[1]the Secretary of State for Education hereby makes the following Regulations:—
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Special Educational Needs) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 1st September 1994.
        2.    The Education (Special Educational Needs) Regulations 1994[2]are amended—
       (a) in regulation 11(6)(d) by substituting "regulation 6(1)(c)" for "regulation 6(c)", and
       (b) in paragraph 2 of Part I of the form set out in Part B of the Schedule by substituting "10" for "8".

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
    These Regulations amend the Education (Special Educational Needs) Regulations 1994 by substituting two cross references to regulations for the existing cross references, which were defective.
