LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SCOTLAND The Local Authorities Etc. (Allowances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1994
1.(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities Etc. (Allowances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1994, shall come into force on 1st April 1994 and shall apply only to Scotland. (2) In these Regulations "the principal Regulations" means the Local Authorities Etc. (Allowances) (Scotland) Regulations 1991[3].
2. The principal Regulations shall be amended as follows:

3.(1) Subject to paragraph (2), regulations 2 to 7 of the Local Authorities Etc. (Allowances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1993[4] are hereby revoked. (2) Without prejudice to section 16 of the Interpretation Act 1978[5], any provision revoked by virtue of paragraph (1) shall continue to have effect in relation to claims made for allowances or other payments in respect of duties performed before 1st April 1994.
