TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING, SCOTLAND

The Planning and Compensation Act 1991 (Commencement No.16) (Scotland) Order 1994

Made 21st February 1994

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 84(2) of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991([1]) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 (Commencement No.16) (Scotland) Order 1994.
    Provisions coming into force on 7th March 1994
        2.    The following provisions of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 shall come into force on 7th March 1994:—
    section 61 in so far as it relates to the provisions of Schedule 13 referred to below;
    section 58;
    Schedule 13 in so far as it relates to paragraphs 3 and 4.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    Article 2 of this Order brings into force on 7th March 1994 section 58 (status of development plans) and section 61 and Schedule 13 paragraphs 3 and 4 (minor amendments in relation to preparation of structure plans and local plans) of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 which apply to Scotland.
