CONTAMINATION OF FOOD

The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) Partial Revocation Order 1994

Made 13th January 1994
Laid before Parliament 18th January 1994
Coming into force 19th January 1994

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 1(1) and (2) and 24(1) and (3) of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation, commencement and interpretation
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) Partial Revocation Order 1994 and shall come into force on 19th January 1994.

        (2)  In this Order "the principal Order" means the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) Order 1991[2].
    Partial revocation
        2.—(1)  The principal Order is revoked so far as it designates any part of the areas set out in Schedule 1 to this Order.

        (2)  Part II of Schedule 1 to the principal Order shall be amended in accordance with Schedule 2 to this Order.
