HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND AND WALES

The London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin-Rug Diversions, Variation) Order 1993

Made 26th November 1993
Coming into force 24th December 1993

    The Secretary of State for Wales in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10 and 329(1)[1] of the Highways Act 1980[2] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
        1.    Article 2(1) and (2) and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part I and paragraphs (1) and (2) of Part II of the Schedule to the London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin-Rug Diversions) Order 1939[3] are hereby revoked.
        2.    This Order shall come into force on 24th December 1993 and may be cited as the London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin-Rug Diversions, Variation Order 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    Under the London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin- Rug Diversions) Order 1939, new roads to be constructed by the Secretary of State at Corwen and between Pont Corwen and Pont Melin-Rug, would supersede lengths of the London-Holyhead Trunk Road as described in Schedule 2 of that Order. The said roads have not yet been constructed, and this Order varies that Order by deleting from it the provisions relating to the new road at Corwen.
