HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND AND WALES

The London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin-Rug Diversions, Variation) Order 1993

The Secretary of State for Wales in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10 and 329(1)^[1] of the Highways Act 1980^[2] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-

    1.    Article 2(1) and (2) and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part I and paragraphs (1) and (2) of Part II of the Schedule to the London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin-Rug Diversions) Order 1939^[3] are hereby revoked.

    2.    This Order shall come into force on 24th December 1993 and may be cited as the London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin-Rug Diversions, Variation Order 1993.

Under the London-Holyhead Trunk Road (Corwen and Pont Corwen to Pont Melin- Rug Diversions) Order 1939, new roads to be constructed by the Secretary of State at Corwen and between Pont Corwen and Pont Melin-Rug, would supersede lengths of the London-Holyhead Trunk Road as described in Schedule 2 of that Order. The said roads have not yet been constructed, and this Order varies that Order by deleting from it the provisions relating to the new road at Corwen.
