PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT

The Public Service Vehicles (Traffic Commissioners: Publication and Inquiries) (Amendment) Regulations 1993

Coming into force 1st December 1993

    The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5(2)(b) and 60(1)(e) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981 ("the 1981 Act")[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 61(2) of the 1981 Act[2], hereby makes the following Regulations:
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Public Service Vehicles (Traffic Commissioners: Publication and Inquiries) (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st December 1993.
        2.    The Public Service Vehicles (Traffic Commissioners: Publication and Inquiries) Regulations 1986[3] shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.
        3.    In regulation 4(2), for "£2.50" there shall be substituted "£3.50".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
    These Regulations amend the Public Service Vehicles (Traffic Commissioners: Publication and Inquiries) Regulations 1986.
    The fee for a copy of "Notices and Proceedings" supplied by a traffic commissioner pursuant to section 5(2)(b) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981 is increased from £2.50 to £3.50.
    This fee has not been increased since 1986.
