The Design Right (Semiconductor Topographies) (Amendment) Regulations 1993

Laid before Parliament 20th October 1993
Coming into force 10th November 1993

    The Secretary of State, being designated[1] for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[2] in relation to the conferment and protection of exclusive rights in the topographies of semiconductor products, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said section 2(2), hereby makes the following Regulations:
        1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Design Right (Semiconductor Topo- graphies) (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 10th November 1993.
        2.    The Design Right (Semiconductor Topographies) Regulations 1989[3] shall be amended by substituting for the Schedule thereto the Schedule set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
