ROAD TRAFFIC

The Vehicles Excise Duty (Simplification of Goods Vehicles Rates) Order 1993

The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Finance Act 1993^[1] and of all other enabling powers hereby makes the following Order:—

    1.    This Order may be cited as the Vehicles Excise Duty (Simplification of Goods Vehicles Rates) Order 1993 and comes into force on 8th November 1993.

    2.    Schedule 1 to this Order modifies Schedule 4 to the Vehicles (Excise) Act 1971^[2].

    3.    The enactments specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are repealed in consequence of Schedule 1.
