PIPE-LINES

The Haydon Natural Gas Pipe-lines Order 1993

Made 24th September 1993
Laid before Parliament 28th September 1993
Coming into force 19th October 1993

    The Secretary of State, on an application in that behalf being made to him by Associated Gas Supplies Limited, and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(2) of the Pipe- lines Act 1962[1] and now vested in him[2], hereby makes the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Haydon Natural Gas Pipe-lines Order 1993 and shall come into force on 19th October 1993.
        2.    In this Order, the "Haydon area of Swindon" means land which is described in the Schedule hereto and which is delineated and shown shaded in green on the map annexed hereto.
        3.    Section 7(1) of the Pipe-lines Act 1962[3] shall not apply to the construction of pipelines situate wholly within the Haydon area of Swindon, being pipe-lines for the conveyance of natural gas.
