ROAD TRAFFIC The Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) (Amendment) Regulations 1993
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st October 1993.
2. The Motor Vehicles (Type Approval for Goods Vehicles) (Great Britain) Regulations 1982[2] shall be further amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.
3.(1) Regulation 4 shall be amended as follows. (2) In paragraph (1), after "(2)," there shall be inserted "(2A),". (3) In paragraph (2), the words "and as at its date of manufacture" shall be omitted. (4) After paragraph (2) as so amended, there shall be inserted the following paragraph
(5) In paragraph (3), the words from the beginning to "this regulation," shall be omitted. (6) Paragraph (3A) shall be omitted. (7) In paragraph (4), there shall be inserted at the beginning the words "Save as provided in paragraph (4A),". (8) After paragraph (4) as so amended, there shall be inserted the following paragraph
(9) In paragraph (14) after "2E," there shall be inserted "2F,".
4.(1) Part I of Schedule 1 shall be amended as follows. (2) For items 2F and 2G there shall be substituted the items set out in Schedule 1 to these Regulations. (3) After item 2H, there shall be inserted the item shown in Schedule 2 to these Regulations. (4) For items 4D(4) and 4E there shall be substituted the items set out in Schedule 3 to these Regulations. (5) For items 6F, 6G, 6H, 6I, 6J, 6K, and 6L there shall be substituted the items set out in Schedule 4 to these Regulations.
5.(1) Part I of Schedule 1B shall be amended as follows. (2) Paragraph 1 shall be renumbered paragraph 1A and before that paragraph as so renumbered there shall be inserted the following paragraph
(3) In paragraph 1A as so renumbered, after "2E," there shall be inserted "2F,".
