HOUSING, ENGLAND AND WALES

The Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1993

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 102(2) and (4), 138(1)^[1] and 190(1) of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989^[2] as extended by subsections (2) and (3) of Section 2 of the Welsh Language Act 1967^[3] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
    1.    These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Renovation etc.Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 16th September 1993.

Amendments
    2.    The Housing Renovation etc Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) (Amendment) Regulations 1993^[4] are amended as follows:
 (a) in Schedule 1 (amendments to Form 1 and Form 2)—
 (i) in paragraph 2, before "there is substituted" insert the words "in Form 1 (Ffurflen 1);"
 (ii) after paragraph 2, insert the following—
    "2A.    For question 1.16 (cwestiwn 1.16) in Form 2 (Ffurflen 2) there is substituted—



    1.16    Ai chi neu aelod o'ch teulu a fydd yn gwneud y gwaith?Nodyn 8
  Ie[          ]

  Nage[          ]" ; and


 (iii) in paragraph 3, after the word "against" insert the words ""Lwfans gweini" and against".
 (b) In Schedule 2 (amendments to Form 3), in paragraph 3 after the word "against" insert the words "Lwfans gweini" and "against".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)

The Housing Renovations etc. Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) (Amendment) Regulations 1993^[10] ("the Welsh Regulations") amended the Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) Regulations 1991^[11].The amendments were a translation into Welsh of amendments made by the Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) (Amendment) Regulations 1993^[12] ("The English Regulations") to the Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) Regulations 1990^[13]. Subsequently, the Housing Renovation etc. Grants (Prescribed Forms and Particulars) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1993^[14] were made to correct defects in Schedules 1 and 2 to the English Regulations. These Regulations make those corrections in the Welsh Regulations.
