EDUCATION, ENGLAND AND WALES The Education (Assisted Places) (Amendment) Regulations 1993
(2) These Regulations shall apply in relation to a school year beginning on or after the date mentioned in paragraph (1). (3) In these Regulations, a reference to the principal Regulations is a reference to the Education (Assisted Places) Regulations 1989[2].
(2) In paragraph 4 of that Schedule, for the words "pursuant to a scheme approved by the Secretary of State under section 50(4) of the Adoption Act 1958" there shall be substituted the words "pursuant to regulations made under section 57A of the Adoption Act 1976[3]", and for the words "pursuant to section 34(6) of the Children Act 1975" there shall be substituted the words "under paragraph 15 of Schedule 1 to the Children Act 1989[4], any assistance given by a local authority in cash under paragraph 5 of Schedule 2 to that Act and any payment made by a local authority under paragraph 16 of that Schedule". (3) In paragraph 5(3)(a) of that Schedule, after the words "(whether in the United Kingdom or elsewhere)" there shall be inserted the words "under any arrangement made by the Child Support Agency pursuant to the Child Support Act 1991[5]".
(2) For the Table in paragraph 2 of that Schedule there shall be substituted the following Table TABLE
