NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, ENGLAND AND WALES

The Cardiothoracic Centre-Liverpool National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1993

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977^[1] and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990^[2] and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Cardiothoracic Centre-Liverpool National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1993 and shall come into force on 27th July 1993.

Amendment of Establishment Order
    2.    In article 4 of the Cardiothoracic Centre-Liverpool National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1990^[3] for the words "4 non-executive" there shall be substituted "5 non-executive" and for the words "4 executive" there shall be substituted "5 executive".

This Order amends the Cardiothoracic Centre-Liverpool National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991 to alter the number of non-executive and executive directors to be appointed to the trust in each case from 4 to 5.
