OFFSHORE INSTALLATIONS

The Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) (No. 2) Order 1993

Made 30th June 1993
Coming into force 9th August 1993

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 22(1) and (2) of the Petroleum Act 1987[1] (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Offshore Installations (Safety Zones) (No.2) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 9th August 1993.
        2.    A safety zone is hereby established around each of the installations specified in column 1 of the Schedule hereto (being installations stationed in waters to which sub-section (7) of section 21 of the Act applies) having a radius of five hundred metres from the point as respects that installation which has the co-ordinates of latitude and longitude according to European Datum (1950) specified in columns 2 and 3 of the Schedule.
