The Foreign Fields (Specification) (No. 2) Order 1993

Made 18th June 1993

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 9(5) and 12(2) of the Oil Taxation Act 1983 [1] (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Foreign Fields (Specification) (No. 2) Order 1993.
        2.    In this Order the "Froy Field" means the hydrocarbon accumulation between the depths of 2,920 metres and 3,200 metres beneath mean sea level within the boundary defined by a set of lines of latitude and longitude joining the surface co-ordinates set out in the Schedule hereto.
        3.    The Froy Field, being an area which is not under the jurisdiction of the government of the United Kingdom, is for the purposes of the Act hereby specified as a foreign field.
