SEA FISHERIES

The Local Fisheries Committees (Fees for Copy Byelaws) Order 1993

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(1) of, and paragraph 9 of Schedule 3 to, the Public Expenditure and Receipts Act 1968^[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Title and commencement
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Local Fisheries Committees (Fees for Copy Byelaws) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 21st May 1993.

Amendment of Sea Fisheries Regulation Act 1966
    2.    In section 9(1) of the Sea Fisheries Regulation Act 1966^[2] the following words shall be omitted—
"on payment of a sum not exceeding one penny for each copy" .

This Order amends section 9 of the Sea Fisheries Regulation Act 1966 so as to dispense with the provision for payment (not exceeding one penny) to local fisheries committees for supplying a copy of their byelaws.
