ROAD TRAFFIC

The Road Traffic Act 1991 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1993

Made 31st March 1993

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 84 of the Road Traffic Act 1991([1]) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation and interpretation
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 1991 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1993.

        (2)  In this Order "the Act" means the Road Traffic Act 1991; and section 331(3) of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975([2]) shall apply for the purposes of this Order as it applies for the purposes of that section.
    Commencement
        2.    The provisions of the Act which are specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order shall, insofar as they are not then in force, come into force on 1st April 1993, but, when a particular purpose is specified in column 2 of that Schedule in relation to any such provision, that provision shall come into force on that day only for that purpose.
