ROAD TRAFFIC

The A13 Trunk Road (Newham, Barking and Dagenham, and Havering) (Speed Limits) Order 1988 (Variation) Order 1993

Made 19th March 1993
Coming into force 26th March 1993

    The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 82(2), 83(1), 84(1) and (2) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984[1], and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the A13 Trunk Road (Newham, Barking and Dagenham, and Havering) (Speed Limits) Order 1988 (Variation) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 26th March 1993.
        2.—(1)  The A13 Trunk Road (Newham, Barking and Dagenham, and Havering) (Speed Limits) Order 1988[2] shall be varied as follows.

        (2)  In Schedule 1 after paragraph 2 there shall be added—
        "3. The westbound carriageway of Canning Town Flyover
            4.    The south-eastern slip road" .


        (3)  For paragraph 1 of Schedule 3 there shall be substituted—
            "1.    That length of the trunk road in the London Boroughs of Newham and Barking and Dagenham, excluding the westbound carriageway of Canning Town Flyover and the south-eastern slip road, which extends from its junction with East India Dock Road to a point 28 metres west of the western side of Gascoigne Road including the eastbound carriageway of Canning Town Flyover, the north-eastern slip road, the A13 roundabout, the A13 eastbound exit slip road, the A13 eastbound access slip road, the A13 westbound exit slip road, the A13 westbound access slip road, Spur Road and the Gooseley Lane south bus bay."
