ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION The Controlled Waste (Amendment) Regulations 1993
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Controlled Waste (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.
2. In regulations 3(2) and 7(2) of the Controlled Waste Regulations 1992[2], for the words "at any time before 1st April 1993" there shall be substituted the words "at any time before the day appointed under section 164(3) of the Act for the repeal of sections 3 to 10 of the Control of Pollution Act 1974[3] in relation to controlled waste which is scrap metal".
