TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING, SCOTLAND

The Planning and Compensation Act 1991 (Commencement No. 15) (Scotland) Order 1993

Made 15th February 1993

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 84(2) of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation and extent
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 (Commencement No. 15) (Scotland) Order 1993.

        (2)  This Order extends only to Scotland.
    Provision coming into force on 18th February 1993
        2.    Section 57 of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 insofar as it relates to paragraphs 3 and 9 of Schedule 10 to that Act shall come into force on 18th February 1993.
    Provision coming into force on 1st May 1993
        3.    Section 57 of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 insofar as it relates to paragraph 11 of Schedule 10 to that Act shall come into force on 1st May 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order brings into force on two different dates section 57 of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 insofar as it relates to paragraphs 3 and 9 and paragraph 11 of Schedule 10 to that Act. The Order applies only to Scotland. Paragraphs 3, 9 and 11 of Schedule 10 effect amendments to and insertions in the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1972.
