LONDON GOVERNMENT

The London Residuary Body (Number of Members) Order 1992

Made 22nd December 1992
Coming into force 4th January 1993

    The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 57(5) of the Local Government Act 1985[1], and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the London Residuary Body (Number of Members) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st January 1993.
    Number of members of the London Residuary Body
        2.    From 5th January 1993, in relation to the London Residuary Body, section 57(3) of the Local Government Act 1985 has effect with the alteration of the numbers five and ten to three and six.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order alters, with effect from 5th January 1993, the minimum and maximum number of members of London Residuary Body from five and ten respectively to three and six respectively.
