The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1992

Made 22nd September 1992
Coming into force 15th October 1992

    The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 1, 7(1)(a), (b), (c), and (2), 23(f) and (g) of the Animal Health Act 1981[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
    Title and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 15th October 1992.
    Interpretation
        2.    In this Order the "principal Order" means the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978[2].
    Amendment
        3.—(1)  At the end of Schedule 1 to the principal Order (which lists disinfectants approved by the Minister) there shall be added the entries listed in Schedule 1 to this Order.

        (2)  The entries listed in Schedule 2 to this Order shall be deleted from Schedule 1 to the principal Order.

        (3)  For the provisions of Schedule 2 to the principal Order (which lists disinfectants subject to transitional provisions) there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in Schedule 3 to this Order.

        (4)  In article 6(2) of the principal Order (which specifies the date until which disinfectants subject to transitional provisions remain approved) for the words "30th June 1992" there shall be substituted the words "31st December 1992".
