PRISONS

The Closure of Prisons (H.M. Prison Northeye) Order 1992

Made 15th September 1992
Laid before Parliament 24th September 1992
Coming into force 15th October 1992

    In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 37 of the Prison Act 1952[1],I hereby make the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Closure of Prisons (H.M. Prison Northeye) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 15th October 1992.
        2.    The prison known as Northeye Prison and situate in the county of East Sussex shall close on the coming into force of this Order.
