The Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991 (Commencement) Order 1992

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991^[1], and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991 (Commencement) Order 1992.

Day appointed
    2.    1st April 1993 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991.

This Order brings into force on 1st April 1993 the Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991 (which amends Part I of the Registered Homes Act 1984 so as to require registration in respect of small residential care homes with fewer than four residents and for connected purposes).
