The Child Support Act 1991 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1992

Made 6th August 1992

    The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 58 of the Child Support Act 1991[1], hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Child Support Act 1991 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1992.
    Date appointed for the coming into force of certain provisions of the Child Support Act 1991
        2.    The date appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Child Support Act 1991 is 1st September 1992—
      Section 13 (Child Support Officers);

      Section 21(1) and (4) and Schedule 3 (Child Support Appeal Tribunals) in so far as they are not already in force;

      Section 22(1), (2) and (5) and Schedule 4 (Child Support Commissioners);

      Section 23 (Child Support Commissioners for Northern Ireland);

      Section 24(9) (Appeal to Child Support Commissioner);

      Paragraphs 1 to 4 of Schedule 5 and section 58(13) so far as it relates to those paragraphs (Consequential Amendments).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order brings into force on 1st September 1992 various provisions of the Child Support Act 1991 relating to child support officers, child support appeal tribunals, Child Support Commissioners and Child Support Commissioners for Northern Ireland.
