The Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales) Order 1992

Laid before Parliament 23rd July 1992
Coming into force 13th August 1992

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 15th day of July 1992

Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

    Her Majesty, in pursuance of sections 5(1) and 5(4) of the Education (Schools) Act 1992[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 13th August 1992.
        2.    Roy Lewis James, Esquire, is hereby appointed Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales for a period of three years from 1st September 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
