RATING AND VALUATION

The Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1992

The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 10(2) of the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992^[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order—

    1.    This Order may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1992.

    2.    The Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992, in so far as it is not already in force, shall come into force on 16th July 1992.

Article 2 of this Order brings into force on 16th July 1992 all the provisions of the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992 which are not already in force.

Sections 5(2), 7 and 9 of the Act were brought into force on 23rd June 1992 by the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1992 (S.I. 1992/1486).
