RATING AND VALUATION

The Local Government Finance Act 1992 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1992

The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 119(2) of the Local Government Finance Act 1992^[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and interpretation
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1992.

Commencement
    2.    Paragraph 1 of Schedule 10 to the Local Government Finance Act 1992 shall come into force on 18th June 1992.

This Order provides for the commencement on 18th June 1992 of paragraph 1 of Schedule 10 to the Local Government Finance Act 1992. That paragraph substitutes a new paragraph (a) for paragraphs (a) and (b) of subsection (7) of section 55 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988.
