COURT OF SESSION, SCOTLAND

The Court of Session etc. Fees Amendment (No. 2) Order 1992

Made 20th May 1992
Laid before Parliament 10th June 1992
Coming into force 1st July 1992

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Courts of Law Fees (Scotland) Act 1895([1]), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Court of Session etc. Fees Amendment (No. 2) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st July 1992.
        2.—(1)  The Table of Fees in the Schedule to the Court of Session etc. Fees Order 1984([2]) shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2) below.

        (2)  In Part 1, Head B (fees in the General Department of the Court of Session), items 3 (originating writ in certain consistorial causes) and 6 (certain other writs in consistorial causes), there shall be substituted in column 2 (fee payable) for the amount "£73" the amount "£40".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order corrects two errors in the Table of Fees which the Court of Session etc. Fees Amendment Order 1992 substituted in the Court of Session etc. Fees Order 1984. Fees in respect of 2 categories of writs in proceedings in the Court of Session were increased in error from £40 to £73. This Order corrects that error.
