AGRICULTURE

The Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Amendment) Order 1992

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in the case of land in England, and the Secretary of State, in the case of land in Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph 6 of Schedule 1 to the Agriculture Act 1986^[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Title and commencement
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Amendment) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 19th June 1992.

Amendment of principal Order
    2.—(1)  The Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) Order 1986^[2] is hereby amended in accordance with the following provisions of this article.

    (2)  For article 2 there shall be substituted the following article:


    2.    "In this Order, the expressions "disadvantaged land" and "severely disadvantaged land" have the same meaning as in the Hill Livestock (Compensatory Allowances) Regulations 1992^[3]." .


    (3)  For the Schedule there shall be substituted the provisions contained in the Schedule to this Order.
