CUSTOMS AND EXCISE

The Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 2) Order 1992

Made 12th May 1992
Coming into force 15th May 1992

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred by section 1 of the Import, Export and Customs Powers (Defence) Act 1939[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 2) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 15th May 1992.
        2.    The Export of Goods (Control) Order 1991[3] shall be further amended as follows—
       (a) in Group 3E in Part II of Schedule 1 after entry PL 7011 there shall be inserted the following new entry—
        PL 7047 Equipment for simulating or modelling any function of any aircraft or helicopter or of any part of any aircraft or helicopter, and specially designed components, specially designed accessories and specially designed software therefor..........L
       (b) in Schedule 2 "Hungary" shall be deleted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order further amends the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1991
      (i) by controlling exports to Libya of flight simulators and similar equipment, and related components, accessories, software and technological documents; and
      (ii) by deleting the reference in Schedule 2 to Hungary.
