SOCIAL SECURITY

The Social Security Act 1990 (Commencement No.4) Order 1992

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 23(2) of the Social Security Act 1990^[1]and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Social Security Act 1990 (Commencement No.4) Order 1992.

Appointed Day
    2.    The day appointed for the coming into force of section 17(1) to (6) and (10) of the Social Security Act 1990 (interest in respect of certain contributions under the Social Security Act 1975)^[2]is 6th April 1992.

This Order provides for the coming into force of section 17(1) to (6) and (10) of the Social Security Act 1990 (interest in respect of Class 1 and Class 1A contributions under the Social Security Act 1975) on 6th April 1992.
