The Diseases of Animals (Waste Food) (Fees for Licences) Order 1992

Made 2nd March 1992
Laid before the House of Commons 11th March 1992
Coming into force 1st April 1992

    The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred by section 84(1) of the Animal Health Act 1981[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, with the approval of the Treasury in accordance with that section, hereby make the following Order:
    Title and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Waste Food) (Fees for Licences) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st April 1992.
    Interpretation
        2.    In this Order—
      "the 1973 Order" means the Diseases of Animals (Waste Food) Order 1973[2];
      "a seasonal operator" means a person who operates plant and equipment for processing waste food on any premises for a period of not more than six months in any twelve months ending with 31st March.

    Fees
        3.    There shall be paid to the appropriate Minister in respect of the matters specified in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order the fees specified in column (4) of that Schedule, such fees being payable at the times specified in column (2) of that Schedule, and replacing the fees specified in column (3) of that Schedule.
    Revocation
        4.    The Diseases of Animals (Waste Food) (Fees for Licences) Order 1987[3] is hereby revoked.
