FOOD The Food Safety (Exports) Regulations 1991
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Food Safety (Exports) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 26th July 1991.
2.(1) After the last regulation in each of the Regulations specified in columns 1 and 2 of Schedules 1 and 2 to these Regulations there shall be inserted the following regulation numbered sequentially
In any proceedings for an offence under these Regulations it shall be a defence for the person charged to prove that the food in respect of which the offence is alleged to have been committed
(2) The provisions of the Regulations, if any, specified in column 3 of Schedules 1 and 2 to these Regulations shall be revoked.
3.(1) After the last regulation in the Materials and Articles in Contact with Food Regulations 1987[2] there shall be inserted the following regulation numbered sequentially
In any proceedings under these Regulations it shall be a defence for the person charged to prove that the material or article in respect of which the offence is alleged to have been committed
(2) Regulation 3(c) of those Regulations shall be revoked.
