The Bure Valley Railway Light Railway (Amendment) Order 1991

Made 18th September 1991
Coming into force 19th September 1991

    The Secretary of State for Transport, on the application of the Broadland District Council, and in exercise of powers conferred by sections 3, 7, 9 to 12 and 24 of the Light Railways Act 1896[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
    Citation and commencement
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Bure Valley Railway Light Railway (Amendment) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 19th September 1991.

        (2)  This Order and the Bure Valley Railway Light Railway Order 1989[3]may be cited together as the Bure Valley Railway Light Railway Orders 1989 to 1991.
    Amendment of 1989 Order
        2.    For the definition of "the Company" in article 2 of the Bure Valley Railway Light Railway Order 1989 there shall be substituted the following definition—
      ""the Company" means Bure Valley Railway (1991) Limited incorporated under the Companies Act 1985[4]and having its registered office at Imperial Buildings, Corporation Street, Rotherham, S60 1PB."
    Costs of Order
        3.    All costs, charges and expenses incurred by the Council in, or incidental to, the preparing for, obtaining and making of this Order, or otherwise in relation thereto, shall be paid by the Council and may in whole or in part be defrayed out of revenue.
