The Fishing Vessels (Life-Saving Appliances) (Guernsey) Order 1990

Laid before Parliament 8th November 1990
Coming into force 1st December 1990

At the Court at Buckingham Palace , the 31st day of October 1990

Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

    Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 47(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1979[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Fishing Vessels (Life-Saving Appliances) (Guernsey) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 1st December 1990.
        2.    In this Order, the expression "the Bailiwick" means the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the territorial waters adjacent thereto.
        3.    The Fishing Vessels (Life-Saving Appliances) Regulations 1988[2] shall extend to the Bailiwick as part of its law, with the modifications specified in the Schedule to this Order.
