ELECTRICITY

The Electricity Act 1989 (North of Scotland Specified Area) Order 1990

Made 7th March 1990
Laid before Parliament 9th March 1990
Coming into force 31st March 1990

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(2)(a) of the Electricity Act 1989[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Electricity Act 1989 (North of Scotland Specified Area) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 31st March 1990.

        (2)  In this Order "deposited map" means the maps 1-5 prepared in quadruplicate, docqueted and signed as relative to this Order and marked "The Electricity Act 1989 North of Scotland Specified Area Order 1990 Map" one copy of which is deposited in the Scottish Office, New St Andrew's House, Edinburgh, one copy of which is deposited at the Office of Electricity Regulation, Glasgow; one copy of which is deposited at the Office of Electricity Regulation, Perth; and the other at the registered office of Scottish Hydro-Electric plc.
        2.    The area of Scotland described in the Schedule to this Order and shown on the deposited map is hereby specified for the purposes of section 3(2)(a) of the Electricity Act 1989.
