COURT OF SESSION, SCOTLAND

Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 1989

Made 14th July 1989
Coming into force 7th August 1989

    The Lords of Council and Session, under and by virtue of the powers conferred on them by section 57 of the Representation of the People Act 1983[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby enact and declare:
    Citation and commencement
        1.—(1)  This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 1989 and shall come into force on 7th August 1989.

        (2)  This Act of Sederunt shall be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.
    Registration Appeal Court
        2.    From the date this Act of Sederunt comes into force, the court of three judges for hearing registration appeals under section 57 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 shall be the Honourable Lord Dunpark, the Honourable Lord Cowie and the Right Honourable the Lord Morton of Shuna.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
