HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND AND WALES

The M40 (London-Oxford) Motorway (Stokenchurch to Waterstock Crossroads Section) Variation Scheme 1989

Made 15th March 1989
Coming into force 5th April 1989

    The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Scheme in exercise of powers conferred by section 16 of the Highways Act 1980[1] , and now vested in him[2] , and of all other enabling powers:
        1.    The M40 (London-Oxford) Motorway (Stokenchurch to Waterstock Crossroads Section) Scheme 1970[3] is hereby varied by deleting therefrom that part of the route of the special road described in Schedule 1 thereto which extends for a distance of 242 yards eastwards from a point on the London-Oxford-Fishguard Trunk Road (A40) 25 yards east of Waterstock Lane at Great Milton in Oxfordshire.
        2.    This Scheme shall come into force on the 5th April 1989 and may be cited as the M40 (London-Oxford) Motorway (Stokenchurch to Waterstock Crossroads Section) Variation Scheme 1989.
