The Spring Traps Approval (Variation) Order 1988

Made 30th November 1988
Coming into force 1st January 1989

    The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, as respects England, and the Secretary of State, as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(3) and (7) of the Pests Act 1954[1] and now vested in them[2] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
    Title and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Spring Traps Approval (Variation) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st January 1989.
    Variation of principal Order
        2.    The Spring Traps Approval Order 1975[3] shall be varied by inserting at the end of the Schedule (in which are set out traps of a type and make approved for the purposes of section 8 of the Pests Act 1954) the provisions set out in the Schedule to this Order.
