The Administration of Justice Act 1985 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1988

Made 21st July 1988

    The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 69(2) of the Administration of Justice Act 1985[1], hereby makes the following Order—
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Administration of Justice Act 1985 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1988.
        2.    Section 53 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985 shall come into force on 1st October 1988.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

    This Order brings into force on 1st October 1988 section 53 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985 (reimbursement of additional costs resulting from death or incapacity of presiding judge etc).
